The Son of God

“Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.” 1 John 2:22-23

There are many who talk about Jesus, but which Jesus do they mean? Some believe that Jesus was just a prophet, some believe that He is an angel. But the Bible is clear that Jesus is the Son of God.

Everything stands and falls with who Jesus is. No wonder there has always been and still is a battle in this area about what is the truth. If Jesus was just an ordinary man and not born of a virgin, He would be a sinner like the rest of us. And one sinner cannot redeem other sinners. Angels also cannot save people from sin.

‭‭”…When He (Jesus) had by Himself purged our sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high…Of the angels He says: “He makes His angels spirits, and His servants a flame of fire.” But to the Son He says: “Your throne, O God, lasts forever and ever; a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.”” Hebrews 1:3, 7-8

When Jesus was on earth, He fulfilled many prophecies (predictions). If one is serious, the precision of the prophecies and their fulfillment cannot be explained away. Just open the Bible and read. Jesus also healed many sick people, delivered people from evil spirits and raised the dead. Jesus performed many miracles. And even today Jesus works miracles.

Whoever denies that Jesus is the Son of God, he does not have the Father either. Jesus, the Son of God, is the only way to the Father. You can think and say what you want about it, but that doesn’t change the truth.

“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6

There are evil spirits working overtime to mislead people about who Jesus is. Make sure you don’t listen to or open yourself to them. They have the devil as their master and he is downright evil. The devil is anti (against) Christ, but Jesus is Lord and has defeated and disarmed the devil for us humans. The only question is whether people have made an active choice to leave the kingdom of darkness and enter the kingdom of God instead. The way into the kingdom of God is Jesus.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:16

You can trust that Jesus is the Son of God, the Savior of the world. He wants to save you from your sins now. Put your faith in Him and trust that what Jesus has done for you through His death and resurrection is working. Tell Jesus that you want to be forgiven of your sins and start following Him now. When you have the Son, you also have the Father.

“Consider how much love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God. Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now are we children of God, and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be. But we know that when He appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. Everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. 1 John 3:1-3

Through faith in Jesus, you become a child of God. What a wonderful grace. Continue to walk with Jesus, read and practice the Bible.
